For this brief, I had to adapt a scene from the book, A Confusion of Princes by Garth Nix. I focused on a particular simulation scene that was made as a training ground, recreating a dumping ground for broken parts and ships in the desert. Designing an open space focusing on the trading and dealing of the ship parts, I created an energetic sequence in which the 'Deathmaster' enters the arena, singling out a victim to sacrifice.

It was important to include natural rock features and have the built elements to look as if they were made from old recycled materials. The central arena is the focal point of this design with various paths and levels leading out towards the desert/habitats.​​​​​​​
